The Robey

For those of you who will be attending our rehearsal dinner – we’ll be celebrating in our neighborhood, Wicker Park, at The Robey.

This is a great option if you’d like more of a modern feel than a traditional downtown Chicago vibe. The Robey is located right next to the Damen Blue Line stop. Taking the Blue Line to the Jackson stop is ~20 mins door to door to ULC.

Please note we do not have any room blocks at The Robey, as it is a smaller boutique hotel. This will likely book fast, so we recommend booking sooner rather than later if you’d like to stay there.

Airports

O’Hare (ORD) –Driving time from ORD to ULC depends on traffic, but is typically about an hour drive to downtown. For public transportation, ORD is directly connected to the Blue Line, which is ~40 mins to downtown. The Jackson stop is around the corner from ULC.

Midway (MDW) – Driving time from MDW to ULC depends on traffic, but can be anywhere from 30 mins to an hour. For public transportation, MDW is directly connected to the Orange Line, which is ~40 mins to downtown. The Harold Washington Library stop is around the corner from ULC.

Driving

Parking – Self Parking and Valet are available at the garage on the northwest corner of Federal and Van Buren. Special rates are available for guests with tickets that are validated at the Front Desk. Please visit the ULC website for further information and pricing.

Public Transportation

Union Station - 11 min walk, 4 min drive to ULC, accessible from the following train lines: BNSF, Heritage Corridor (HC), Milwaukee District North (MD-N), Milwaukee District West (MD-W) North Central Service (NCS), and SouthWest Service (SWS).

Ogilvie Transportation Center - 18 min walk, 6 min drive to ULC, accessible from Metra's Union Pacific District lines (UP-N, UP-NW, UP-W).

Jackson El Stop – 1 min walk, 1 min drive to ULC, accessible from the Red and Blue lines.

Harold Washington El Stop – 5 min walk, 3 min drive to ULC, accessible from the Brown, Orange, Pink, and Purple lines.
